Prevent Unwanted Photo Tag on Facebook

Whenever i open my facebook account day in & day out, i always see Miss Y was tagged in Mr. X's pictures and similar things like that.Not only i am upset with this annoying thing but all of the facebook users at large.This is a kind of spam for facebook users. Nobody wants to get tagged in anyone's pictures, specially if they are unknown.

Many people do this to impress girls.By tagging girls in their photos, they want to show them, how good looking they are and want to increase their level.Anyways, not only it createsproblem for the person who is getting tagged but it also affects the people in his/her friendlist too, as they will also see same unwanted thing.

The main thing which i need to describe here is that Facebook actually provides a way to control who tags ourselves, but unfortunately only few people, including me, knows this. Time & again i have seen people crying off getting tagged in pictures on facebook in my friends list, then i finally decided to write this article.

So, without wasting your time i am now quickly telling you the way to control unwanted photo tags on facebook.

Step 1: Open your facebook account

Step 2: Go to settings, like this: 

Step 3: Select "Privacy" from left 

Step 4: After selecting privacy, you will see something like this

Click on "Use activity log" against the red highlighted area

Step 4: Then select "Tag Review"

Step 5: Then click on settings icon

Step 6: Then select "Enabled"

Then close this box. That's it.

Now whenever anyone will tag you in his/her pictures or even status, this will be listed in timeline review, then you can either allow or disallow that tag, as per your wish.
