How to Change the Password At the User Level?
Here is the procedure to change the password at the administrator level. But for this the main thing is you should be logged into that system. Now, situation is you are logged in but you don’t know the password and you want to change the current password.
Here Is the Method:
1. Open CMD by typing “cmd” in Run Dialogue Box (Window+R).
2. Type the command “net users” and Enter.
Here is the procedure to change the password at the administrator level. But for this the main thing is you should be logged into that system. Now, situation is you are logged in but you don’t know the password and you want to change the current password.
Here Is the Method:
1. Open CMD by typing “cmd” in Run Dialogue Box (Window+R).
2. Type the command “net users” and Enter.
3. Now see the users on the system and note the admin user name(logged in one) or you can see in the command line only. Its in C:\Users\”username”>. But this sometimes won’t be accurate.
4. Now type the username this time with the previous command and Enter to see if the username entered is right. “net users username” (EXCLUDE INVERTED COMMAS)
5. A long list will appear and now type “net users username * ” (Include * and Exclude “ “ )and press Enter.
6. Now windows will ask you to enter the new password.
7. Enter the new password and Enjoy.
